We help Black and Indigenous, people of color community members build the technical and social/emotional skills to become experienced outdoor recreationists and professionals. For many, the path to becoming a competent and confident outdoors-person is a lonely path of trial and error. For most of us, we cannot afford some of those errors, whether they be an injury, money lost on unused equipment, or a costly mistake because you simply didn’t know what you didn’t know.

Trvl Wide aims to support its community by offering educational and community-building monthly events, courses, and workshops, at a sliding scale and donation-only costs.
