BIPOC Bikepacking Prep Session & Group Ride

This week we are meeting at Waterton Canyon for a slow-roll group ride and bikepacking info session. Whether you want to join for the ride or the chance to try out a variety of bikepacking bags, this month’s event will set you up to meet other riders and progress your skill set with bikepacking. Check out our link for more info!

Every month, Trvl Wide hosts an outdoors-related event for Black and Indigenous, people of color, in order to further build a diverse and inclusive cycling and outdoor community. These trips are semi to fully outfitted (depending on available gear and equipment). As a participant, you can expect to borrow camping gear - a sleep system and kitchenware, a hard-tail bike, and bikepacking bags. You need to bring only your clothing layers and any personal items to ride comfortably and sleep warm. A complete gear list can be found on the registration link below.

We aim to cater each outing to the participants that show up. This may include teaching the fundamentals of bikepacking, party pacing with lots of downtime, or tackling an off-road century. Our goal is to build our community of BIPOC bikepackers and off-road outdoors people, so we are always happy to default to the most beginner experience level.

We hope to see you out there!
