Friends & Fall Bikepacking Weekend

Join us for an exciting weekend of biking and adventure in the South Platte near 11-Mile Canyon. Get ready to explore the beautiful gravel roads and immerse yourself in the stunning fall scenery of Colorado. Whether you're a seasoned bikepacker or a beginner, this event is perfect for all skill levels.

What to expect:

We'll be heading out on a mellow party-pace gravel ride through the beautiful land of the Colorado Outdoor Education Center. After 12 or so miles of steady climbing, we'll begin our descent into the breathtaking waters of the South Platte River, in 11-Mile Canyon. There will be time for a cool dip, campfire chats, and lots of laughs before dinner. The following day we'll pack up our camp and bikes and head back up the hill to our cars and say our goodbyes.

We'll have a sag vehicle haul any needed gear, food, or equipment to the campsites when we depart. Feel free to bring comfy items to have at camp that may not fit on our bikes.

Draft Schedule:

Friday Meetup & Campout at COEC - Dinner & shelters provided

Saturday Morning - Outfit bikes with gear and bags and roll out! (Breakfast & lunch provided by group - See MEALS below)

Saturday Afternoon/Evening - arrive at campground and set up camp. Post-ride hang out! (Dinner provided by group - see MEALS below)

Sunday Morning - Pack up camp and climb back to COEC for departure.
